I didn’t just enter the beauty industry — I built a niche inside it and made it my life’s work. For over three decades, I’ve been mastering the art of brows and lashes, turning what many considered a supporting service into a full, thriving career.

My journey started in the early 1990s, learning to start, maintain, and style locs — a foundation that gave me a deep respect for the craft and the culture behind it. In 1997, I formalized that passion, graduating from the Cosmetology Program at Atlanta Area Technical College, where I first learned the art of eyebrow arching. That same year I joined Bronner Bros. Hair Care at their West End Mall location in Atlanta, GA — and it was there, working behind a busy chair in one of Atlanta’s most iconic beauty destinations, that I truly mastered eyebrow arching, makeup application, and individual lash application. The volume, the clientele, and the standard of excellence at Bronner Bros. pushed my skill set to a professional level that no classroom alone could have provided.

By 1998, I had opened Brows by Rob, my first dedicated brow & lash bar, where I spent eight years perfecting an expanded menu of services including eyebrow waxing, lamination, tinting, lifting, nano shading, and both cluster and individual lash application.

I also had the honor of working as a MAC Makeup Artist (1999–2000), further refining my eye for color, symmetry, and detail across a full range of beauty services.

In 2006 I expanded into full-service entrepreneurship, opening Broadway Beauty & Barber in Kentucky, which I owned and operated through 2017. The business earned recognition from the City of Mayfield’s Mayor’s Office as Business of the Year and received a letter of commendation from a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for community service — honors I carry with genuine pride.

In 2020 I became a certified lash extension technician and earned dual certification in nano shading and microblading — adding the most advanced permanent and semi-permanent brow techniques to my repertoire.
